European Paediatric Formulation Initiative Issues Invitation to Participate in On-line Survey. As part of its objective to raise awareness and to facilitate preparation of better/safe medicines for children, the not-for-profit European Paediatric Formulation Initiative (EuPFI) is developing a prototype evidence-based database of pharmaceutical excipients to address safety issues and toxicity aspects in medicines for children. The initiative is conducting an international on-line survey to determine the pediatric excipient database structure that best satisfies the needs of potential users and has invited formulators, regulatory groups, clinicians, pharmacologists, toxicologists, and others in related positions to participate.
